On Saturday we drove back to Kean for the second night of the weekend's Scholarship Fund for Inner City Children Showcase. Saturday night included a pair of boys games.

In the first game, Roselle Catholic exploded in the second half, outscoring Seton Hall Prep 27-10 on the way to a 80-61 victory. 6-foot-8 Syracuse bound Sr. Tyler Roberson tallied 16 points and 9 rebounds. 6-foot-5 Princeton bound Sr. Spencer Weisz netted 19 for Seton Hall Prep, 15 in the first half. Roberson had 11 after intermission.

Roselle Catholic shot 69% in the second half, 61% for the game.

In the second game St. Anthony's doubled up Curtis of Staten Island NY 61-31 as 6-foot-3 Temple bound Sr. Josh Brown hit for 19 points with 4 assists. The Friars completely shut down 6-foot-7 Rhode Island bound Hassan Martin, limiting him to 3 fourth quarter points.

Running their offense well, the Friars shot 63% from the floor and they held Curtis to 32% shooting.

Action continues Sunday with a boys tripleheader.
