NJ Varsity Top 25: Groups 3, 4, and 5

The first sixteen spots remain the same and there is a little movement from 17-15, with two teams leaving in Eastern and Absegami. River Dell and Summit enter this week.
1 - Don Bosco (7-1). Last week: (1). The Ironmen beat Hackensack, 42-8, and have scored 277 and allowed 94 this year. They have won the last six state titles and eight of the last ten. This week: 7-1 St. Augustine at home, Friday night.

2 - Elizabeth (8-0-1). Last week: (2). The Minutemen did not play Plainfield, due to Hurricane Sandy and were awarded a tie. The opposition has been outscored, 336-76. This week: 4-4 Edison at home, Friday night.
3 - Paramus Catholic (7-1). Last week: (3). The Paladins beat Northern Highlands, 55-7. Opponents have been outscored, 311-146. This week: 5-3 Paul VI at home, Saturday afternoon.
4 - St. Joe's, Montvale (6-2). Last week: (4). The Green Knights beat Ramapo, 42-0, beating their opponents, 298-146. They have won 13 state championships in the last 17 years. This week: 4-5 Bishop Ahr at home, Saturday afternoon.
5 - St. Peter's Prep (7-1-1). Last week: (5). The Marauders did not play Dover (Del.), due to Hurricane Sandy. They have outscored opponents 327-34. They have been in state finals four times since 2005, winning one. This week: 8-1 Seton Hall Prep at home, Friday night.
6 - Williamstown (8-0). Last week: (6). The Braves beat Kingsway, 20-16 last week, and have outscored the opposition, 284-95. This week: 5-3 Millville at home, Friday night.
7 - Sayreville (9-0). Last week: (7). The Bombers beat Monroe, 34-10, and outscored opponents, 258-43. They have won state titles the last two years. This week: 6-3 Woodbridge at home, Friday night.
8 - Bergen Catholic (5-3). Last week: (8). The Crusaders beat Friendship Academy of Washington DC in overtime, 48-42, a week ago and outscored the opposition this year, 334-219. The Golden Hawks lost their best player for the year in the pre-season and then lost their second best player and quarterback for the year in the second game.
