Offense: Delbarton runs a multiple spread and returns five starters and two others who played. The quarterback will be senior Matt Zebrowski (6-foot-2, 215) and he saw periodical action. Tailback has senior Andrew Sanders (5-foot-7, 175) returning and junior Luca Tria (5-foot-11, 170) will get his share of action. Fullback has junior Chris Colon (5-foot-10, 185), sophomore Anthony Siragusa (5-foot-10, 160), junior Max Guillossou (6-foot-0, 195), and sophomore Cole Kreshpane (5-foot-8, 175).
The receivers are very experienced with junior Andrew Papantonis (6-foot-1, 190), senior Kevin Hartley (6-foot-0, 180) back at wide receiver, plus senior Sam Johnson (6-foot-3, 220) returning at tight end. The other wide receiver is senior Johnny Link (5-foot-10, 180). Also seeing action will be junior Matt Douglas (6-foot-3, 185) and Greg Olson (6-foot-2, 175) at wide receiver and senior Matt Ungar (6-foot-3, 200) at tight end.
The line has one starter back in sophomore Matt Andersen (6-foot-2, 250) at left guard. He was essentially the sixth man of the line who saw plenty of action and started in the state final. The right guard is senior Malcolm Mead (5-foot-11, 245), with junior Jake Naciejeswki (6-foot-0, 265) pushing for time. At center is junior Eric Lenz (6-foot-1, 210), with the tackles being juniors Mike Huston (6-foot-3, 205) in the left side and Jonah Lyons (6-foot-0, 210) on the right side.
Defense: The Green Wave runs a 4-3 and returns three starters and another who played often. Johnson returns at end, where Huston will play opposite in a rotation with juniors Chris Francesco (6-foot-3, 200) and Cole Herrigel (6-foot-0, 205). The tackles will have a rotation of Maciejewski, Andersen, Lyons, and sophomore Cole Zgombic (6-foot-2, 190).
The linebackers have Hartley returning on the weak side, moving from safety. On the strong side is senior Dalton Smart (5-foot-11, 185), who played a lot last year. The middle is between Colon and Kreshpane.
Papantonis returns at cornerback, with the opposite corner between senior Brandon Gaceta (5-foot-9, 175) and Jon Catania (5-foot-8, 170). Sanders will also fill in at the corner. The strong safety will be either Tria or Siragusa, with the free safety being Douglas or junior Davis Bell (5-foot-10, 180).
Special Teams: Senior Carter Massengill returns at kicker and the rugby punter is still open. The return men will be Papantonis, Hartley, and Sanders.

Concerns: Youthful line, depth, health, and getting ready for a good St. Anthony's squad in the opener.
Recruiting: Sam Johnson is leaning towards Princeton. Sanders is an Ivy League candidate, with Princeton particularly interested. Hartley is a NESCAC candidate, with Middlebury very interested. Zebrowski is the sleeper as a quarterback; he's big, has a strong arm, and makes good decisions. The others will play D3 somewhere.
The juniors feature Papantonis who can go 1-A or 1-AA and may also go the baseball route. Tria is a very good football player. It is a very talented class, but is still too early to forecast.
It is also early to the sophomores, but Siragusa, Anderson, and Kreshpane have promise.
Coach's Comments: "We're excited and we're having a good pre-season. We have more skill than we've had before and we're still a little young. The line is brand new and a work in progress. The skill kids have more experience and we can be more diverse than we've been in a long time. There are quality receivers and the quarterback has some experience." - Head Coach Brian Bowers
